Canny criminal mastermind Probek (Götz George) smartly gave instruction via walkie-talkie from a distant vantage point as his armed goons (Heinz Hoenig, Ralf Richter) stormed a bank and demanded a 3 million mark ransom for the employees. He had excellent inside info to pull off the job, too-considering he was carrying on a torrid affair with the bank president’s unhappy wife (Gudrun Landgrebe).
